I think it'll serve well. There are indeed some glitches, though in the layout: the floating icons of twitter, facebook etc on the right are hard to identify at first glance. A bit lightness, maybe. Also, in the top navigation, if you hover eg in the tour menu, the "Tour" becomes unreadable as it switches back to the earlier font color. Otherwise, it's a really nice new theme.
