Hope you are all fine and well!

It looked like we were in hibernation for some time, but don’t believe those words! We are working on a lot of thing!

A couple of weeks ago we finished our ‘The West Pole’ tour. Let me say that we had a splendid time on the road and on stage. Some gigs were totally special (Santiago/Chile), some of them totally strange (Beringe/The Netherlands), but we always enjoyed playing and meet you before or after the gig. We are already busy writing new songs, but we are already looking forward to hit the road again. More news about those new songs and new gigs a.s.a.p.

You can buy all our Psychonaut releases digitally on mp3 (320k vbr), Ogg Vorbis, AAC (iTunes store format), Apple Lossless (aka ALAC m4a extension) and FLAC (the last 2 are CD quality). So it is possible to actually choose which format you want. No cranky mp3 files anymore, just good quality. Some albums (like Black Light District, The West Pole) have some extra’s, such as studio movies and pictures. All songs come with metadata (cover, lyrics, credits, etc). Every song on our webshop is streamed on 128k mp3, so you can listen to every song, in total! No 30 seconds snippet nonsense, the whole song!

And on top of all: we give away 2 songs for free. Yes, you can download 2 songs of every album totally for free. You can make your own nice free The Gathering ‘The Psychonaut Years’ compilation if you want.

To celebrate this all we decided to release ‘Alone’ , a song taken from ‘A Sound Relief’ totally for free too! We are planning a digital E.P.  release with a couple of songs taken from this DVD (for free too, it’s almost Christmas, so why not), but we couldn’t wait.
