As you know we will be playing Teatro Caupolican, Santiago, Chile in 3 weeks. Normally it takes months to promote a gig like this, but since we are doing this as a benefit gig and managed to pull it together so quickly, we really need your help to spread the happy message and post the following message:

Little contest for our friends in Paris

Hello everybody,

Tomorrow will be the last day of our Euro tour together with our new friends in Autumn…
It has been so wonderfull to be back on the road again and we want to thank everybody who came to our shows! The response of the audience has truly warmed our hearts and given us so much energy! We have got a lot of new inspiration and are looking forward to make some new music very soon.

For our show tomorrow in Paris we have something nice & exclusive to give away for one of you that already has a ticket for the show. You have to enter our little competition where the lucky winner can get a signed West Pole poster, a really exclusive HTMAP signed poster and…. a retro Gathering bag from the If_Then_Else_ merch.

So, what do you have to do?
Send us (via Twitter) the answer to the following question:
“In what city did Hugo leave us and Marjolein jumped back into the Gathering camp for this tour ?”

The winner will be announced tomorrow around 3pm via Twitter, and then the lucky one can go to our merch stand and collect the gift there.

Now we are off to prepare for our show in Lille and we also have a little surprise for you lot coming today;-)

Dearest friends,

We want to thank all you nice people that has supported and followed us through 2009; a very exciting year for us here in The Gathering. We are truly grateful and it means a lot to us that we had such a nice response on The West Pole and the new line up of The Gathering!

We are very much looking forward to another eventful year with touring lots of countries and meeting many of you friends and fans playing and sharing our common interest: music:-)

When all the snow came down here before Christmas we used the opportunity to enjoy it making a brand new little video for No Bird Call. You can see it here

Snow, great Dutch gigs and a little surprise! :)

The last few days have been soo beautiful here in Nijmegen (Holland), with snow falling and covering everything in white. Some of us meet up a few days ago to have some nice food and drinks and to play around with some songs acoustically. We did a few The Gathering songs and some very nice cover songs. We hope at some point (maybe during the tour?) we can do some of them live, but we will have to wait and see:-) We put out one of the songs we did on our youtube channel and you can check it out here

Yesterday we had a nice trip through peaceful surroundings of Winter on the way to play Bibelot in Dordrecht. The gig went really well and we had so much fun! Thanks to everyone for coming!

Hello friends!

Since we after all are playing our first gigs in almost two years and it will be the first gig with Silje we thought we should do something special for you guys attending the gigs. We are planning to have a lot of fun at these first gigs and they will be very personal and special to us, so we decided we will give away some brand new merch, signed posters and cds, and a little meet&greet where some of you can meet up with the band to have a nice chat and take some pics, and the best of all; we might even film YOU!

All you have to do is to send us an email to contestgathering@gmail.com telling us a shortly why you should be the one and include your full name.

The winners will get announced during the gig.
