First Disclosure Clubshows

Dear The Gathering friends,

First of all we’d really want to thank you for all the kind words we’ve received on Disclosure. This means a lot to us!  These past months we’ve been playing with The Always line-up again which was a lot of fun and in the meantime out singer Silje has become a mother. Busy times!

As you might have noticed: we have started rehearsing again! We are very happy to announce the first Disclosure clubshows in The Netherlands.

New album ‘Disclosure’ and new single ‘Meltdown’

Dear all!

We are very proud to present the brand new song ‘Meltdown’ as a taster from our upcoming album ‘Disclosure’. Again we’ve released an epic song with emotional atmosphere and a typical The Gathering touch. This time though, we have a brand new voice colouring the song. Frank (our keyboard player) is singing some lyrics as well! You can listen to ‘Meltdown’ at our bandcamp page and stream and download the song for free! New TG92 club shows in september

Yes! Because we have so much fun playing together, and because we rehearsed so damn hard (would be a shame only doing 4 shows), The Gathering 1992 (a.k.a. TG92) will do a short club tour in The Netherlands this september:

and of course we have 2 festivals this summer:

We will play together with The 11th hour (new band of former Gorefest drummer Ed Warby). So if you want to hear all those old doom classics ‘Always…’ songs, be sure to be there, before TG92 is going into deep frost winter sleep again! And yes, we will play all songs from ‘Always…’.

New album update

The waiting is almost done! We are currently finishing the recordings of our 10th studio album which will be released via our own Psychonaut Records. Title and release date will be announced asap.
But first we will release a new single end of May and put some nice exclusive pre-order packages on our webshop including the new born.
Lots of you already know we released a single one year ago, called ‘Heroes For Ghosts’, which will be on the album. For peeps who missed it or forgot how it sounded, here it is (again).

Finally they arrived at our webshop! The Gathering’s 5th and 6th studio albums -How to measure a planet- & -If_Then_Else- have been unavailable for vinyl for many years. Both albums are released by Svart Records and both come as a gatefold vinyl, on yellow (HTMAP, double vinyl) or red (ITE) 180 gram vinyl, both limited to 500 copies.

TG 92 benefit gig at Groene Engel-Oss

Another ‘The Gathering 1992′ gig! This time in the city where it all started, Oss. We will play saturday the 21st of april at the ‘Groene Engel’ with Karma to Burn, ZEUS and Gifter. Like our sold out W2 – Den Bosch gig (1st of april), this is a benefit evening, all profit goes to Marcel van de Vondervoort (drummer/producer of Astrosoniq a.o.). Click for more info here. Some summer festivals with the old ‘Always…’ line up

Dear all,

We are currently recording our new album, and as you probably know we are also rehearsing with the old ‘Always…’ line up because of our benefit gig with Acrostichon and Pentacle 1st of april.
As we have a lot of fun together we decided to play a couple of festivals this summer, with the old ‘Always…’ line up, starting with Dokk’em Open Air. More news asap.
